Thank you for your interest in A-1 Water! A-1 Water is a private contractor to various agencies such as the U. S. Forest Service and the California Department of Forestry as well as many commercial, industrial and non-profit organizations. We supply mobile shower units, laundry units, scullery units, potable and gray water trucks, water tenders and other related equipment to support wildland fire suppression, emergency first response and special event personnel in camps and temporary living facility areas. We regularly set-up camp equipment in adverse conditions and in varying climates often working up to 12 hours per day. The season generally runs from April to November with occasional work throughout the rest of the year. Team members need to be capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and be on their feet for several hours a day. We are an emergency response contractor so our team members need to have flexible schedules. You will need to be able to be away from home for several days/weeks and be available to leave for an incident on VERY short notice.
